Job Description

Our company is a pioneering leader in the high-tech manufacturing sector, specializing in the production of advanced printed circuit boards (PCBs). We operate a state-of-the-art fabrication facility that integrates cutting-edge technology with precision engineering to deliver top-quality electronic components essential for a variety of industries, including telecommunications, aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and consumer electronics. Recognized for our commitment to innovation and operational excellence, we have continually invested in expanding our capabilities, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards, and maintaining an environment that fosters safety, sustainability, and employee development. Our facility houses advanced equipment such as plating lines, CNC drilling and routing machines, automated optical inspection systems, exposure units, and waste treatment installations. Employing a team of dedicated experts, we support a dynamic production environment that demands meticulous attention to detail and seamless operational management.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled, strategic, and hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee and optimize the comprehensive functionality of our sophisticated PCB fabrication plant. This full-time, leadership-oriented position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and expertise. The Facilities Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the total operational efficiency of the facility’s buildings, grounds, and specialized production equipment. This includes managing maintenance protocols, vendor relationships, compliance with environmental and safety regulations, and long-term capital planning. Beyond the crucial day-to-day oversight, the role demands active participation in strategic discussions and alignment with the company’s business growth and technological advancement roadmaps. Ideal candidates will bring in-depth technical knowledge of high-tech manufacturing environments, particularly cleanroom operations and complex production equipment, along with proven leadership skills to direct a multidisciplinary team consisting of facilities technicians, maintenance engineers, and external contractors.

Key responsibilities involve designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs to maximize equipment uptime and performance, ensuring all critical production lines and support systems operate at peak efficiency. The Facilities Manager will also handle vendor and asset management, maintaining accurate inventories of crucial spare parts to reduce downtime. Additionally, the position requires expertise in root cause analysis for equipment failures and implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Oversight extends to all facility subsystems, including HVAC, Class 10k/100k cleanrooms, deionized/reverse osmosis water purification systems, chemical delivery mechanisms, compressed air systems, and advanced industrial waste treatment solutions. The role is pivotal in managing the physical building infrastructure, grounds maintenance, and security and fire protection systems to uphold operational integrity and safety standards. Moreover, the Facilities Manager ensures strict compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations such as EPA, OSHA, and DEQ, especially related to hazardous waste disposal and chemical handling.

Strategically, the Facilities Manager will plan and execute facility modifications and expansions to support evolving production technologies and scaling business requirements. This involves budget formulation and management for both CAPEX and OPEX, preparing ROI analyses for major investments, and driving sustainability initiatives aimed at increasing energy efficiency and reducing waste to align with corporate environmental goals. This is an unparalleled opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization where your expertise will directly impact the company's operational success and long-term growth trajectory.
