Job Description
Hines is a global real estate investment, development, and property management firm widely recognized for its innovation and leadership in the industry. Founded over 65 years ago, Hines has built a legacy rooted in excellence, strategic growth, and sustainable development, managing a diverse portfolio valued at approximately $93.2 billion in assets. The company spans multiple property types including living, office, retail, mixed-use, logistics, and life science projects. This extensive reach and expertise have earned Hines a coveted position on Fast Company's annual list of the World's Most Innovative Companies for 2024 as well as recognition from U.S. News & World Report as one of the Best Companies to Work For in 2024. The firm’s investment in its 5,000 employees across 30 countries reflects its commitment to cultivating a workplace culture that emphasizes growth, inclusion, and well-being, supported by comprehensive training, competitive compensation packages, and a suite of robust benefits.
Within the Hines portfolio, Hines Living represents one of the company's highest-conviction growth priorities. Rapidly expanding across North America, Hines Living focuses on creating multifamily communities where residents can find not only a home but a lifestyle enriched by hospitality-driven services and customer-centric innovations. As part of this vibrant and growing division, the role of Lead Concierge - Multifamily is pivotal in fostering positive resident experiences and delivering top-tier service.
The Lead Concierge serves as the primary point of contact for residents and guests, ensuring every interaction is imbued with care, professionalism, and convenience. This leadership position involves organizing, coordinating, and implementing a wide range of resident services and programs while overseeing the concierge team to maintain exemplary service standards. Responsibilities include warmly welcoming new residents and visitors, resolving resident inquiries and complaints with tact and efficiency, and maintaining communication with maintenance teams to address resident needs promptly.
This role requires a personalized approach to resident relations, ensuring expectations are met and frequently exceeded, alongside supporting residents' daily needs such as managing deliveries, monitoring access to facilities like parking and security systems, and coordinating logistical aspects like booking freight elevators for move-ins and furniture deliveries. Additionally, the Lead Concierge plays an integral role in enhancing community engagement by organizing resident events and activities to promote a vibrant living environment beyond the confines of individual homes.
Ideal candidates bring at least two years of experience in multifamily, hospitality, or property management, with strong customer service skills and a resourceful, team-oriented mindset. Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred, as is the ability to communicate effectively and adapt to a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22.65 to $27.70, supplemented by performance-based bonuses.
Working at Hines offers more than just a job; it is an opportunity to contribute to an organization driven by a shared belief that real estate is fundamentally about people. Employees here experience an inclusive environment where their careers are nurtured, and their efforts directly contribute to the company’s ongoing success and innovation. Hines’ emphasis on employee well-being and career development makes this a uniquely rewarding place to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact in multifamily living experiences.
