The role offered is for a Heavy Equipment CDL Delivery Driver at EquipmentShare’s Hubbard, TX location. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position with working hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including overtime pay for any hours worked beyond 40 in a week, and the potential for on-call scheduling with additional compensation. The Heavy Equipment CDL Driver plays a crucial role in safely transporting valuable construction equipment and materials across designated routes with a focus on efficiency and adherence to all applicable legislation and safety standards. Job Requirements
- Must hold a commercial driver’s license Class A CDL or chauffeur’s license depending on state appropriate for vehicle weight
- must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and state departments of transportation
- must pass DOT physical as trucks driven are over 10k lbs
- must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- able to sit for prolonged periods in a trailer cab
- able to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- able to travel frequently
- CDL drivers may be required to be clean shaven to deliver to certain customers
- must pass a 10 panel drug screen
Job Qualifications
- Must hold a commercial driver’s license Class A CDL or chauffeur’s license depending on state appropriate for vehicle weight

- must pass DOT physical as trucks driven are over 10k lbs
- must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- strong interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff
- ability to remain focused in a busy environment
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
- transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required route obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations
- maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas following loading crew signals
- assist with loading or load and unload goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted
- maintain signed invoices shipping bills of lading and other required paperwork and deliver documentation to shipping office or appropriate staff when delivery route is complete
- facilitate routine service on trucks including checking oil water gasoline and air and report maintenance malfunctions to Shipping Supervisor
- arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
- perform other related duties as assigned
