As part of its expansion, Elaichi Co. is seeking a skilled Head Pastry Chef to lead its commissary bakery located in Emeryville. This role is a pivotal one within the organization, responsible for managing the production of all bakery items that support multiple café locations and wholesale partners. The Head Pastry Chef will have complete ownership of the bakery operation, with the opportunity to design and implement a pastry program that is as celebrated as the café’s signature drinks. Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in pastry and kitchen management
- Baking and pastry degree preferred or 3+ years of experience
- Strong communication skills and organizational intuition
- Ability to learn new techniques quickly
- Availability for early mornings weekends and holidays
