Job Description
Harvey is a pioneering company revolutionizing the legal and professional services industry by integrating advanced agentic AI with an enterprise-grade platform. Founded with a mission to reshape critical knowledge work for decades, Harvey serves over 2400 customers across more than 70 countries. The company has established a strong product-market fit and enjoys robust support from world-class investors, fueling its rapid scaling and category-defining innovations. As a hybrid work environment based in New York, Harvey offers a dynamic culture driven by decisiveness, simplicity, and relentless commitment to progress, where employees thrive in fast-paced settings that prioritize clear judgment and ownership.
The position available is a full-time role within the Marketing department that focuses on leading Harvey's owned global events strategy. Named "FORUM," this flagship conference series brings together influential leaders from the legal sector to examine AI, evolving operating models, and talent shifts reshaping legal teams' functioning. The role demands overseeing the vision, positioning, geographic presence, and strategic roadmaps for scaling FORUM globally into a widely recognized program. It involves high-level collaboration with Brand, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Demand Generation teams to ensure the event not only embodies Harvey's brand at its finest but also acts as a potent driver for sales acceleration and customer engagement.
This role requires an individual with exceptional leadership capabilities to build and manage a dedicated FORUM team responsible for production, content, programming, marketing, and enablement functions. The Event Owner ensures superior content quality by curating themes, session formats, speaker lineups, and editorial narratives that align with Harvey's brand ethos. Additionally, this role directs the invite and registration strategies targeting high-consideration audiences and meticulously crafts the entire attendee journey from invitation to post-event follow-up, ensuring an outstanding participant experience.
Effective management of FORUM's partner ecosystem is another critical responsibility, wherein the leader identifies and nurtures key collaborations to elevate the program’s stature. They also take on budget ownership, including P&L administration, planning, allocation, and tracking ROI to maintain financial discipline. Working closely with the Event Production Lead, the role shapes vendor and agency relationships via RFP processes for event production and creative partnerships. The successful candidate brings strategic thinking and the ability to maintain program quality through evolving priorities while handling multiple workstreams efficiently. A strong executive presence is vital as the role involves partnering directly with top leadership such as the CEO and CMO, ensuring alignment and continual communication throughout the year.
The compensation for this role ranges from $187,700 to $281,500 USD, inclusive of equity and bonus opportunities. Benefits comprise comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, a competitive 401k plan with up to 4% match, and flexible paid time off. Harvey is dedicated to equal opportunity employment and provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities upon request. This is an unparalleled chance to contribute to a generational company positioned at an exciting inflection point, offering unmatched potential for personal, professional, and financial growth.
