The Main Clubhouse, situated in the vibrant Midtown area of Atlanta, offers members an exceptional venue encompassing dining, racquet sports, swimming, fitness, and numerous other recreational activities. The club prides itself on fostering a warm, collaborative community where both members and long-serving staff feel truly valued and appreciated. Piedmont Driving Club's commitment to excellence extends beyond services and amenities; it places great emphasis on the professionalism, dedication, and passion of its employees, recognizing that their contributions leave a lasting impact on the club's legacy and member experiences.
The club is currently seeking a Head Chef to lead the culinary team at the Main Clubhouse. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 annually. As Head Chef, the successful candidate will take charge of all culinary operations, ensuring that every dish prepared meets the club's high standards for quality, creativity, and presentation. This leadership role calls for an individual who can inspire and mentor a team of culinary professionals, promoting teamwork, innovation, and excellence. The Head Chef will be responsible for daily kitchen management, overseeing food preparation and service delivery, and maintaining rigorous food safety and sanitation standards. Additionally, the role involves developing and refining recipes, exploring new ingredients, and continually innovating menu offerings to delight members and guests.
The Head Chef at Piedmont Driving Club will play a key role in organizing kitchen workflows and delegating responsibilities to optimize operational efficiency. This position requires strong organizational and time-management skills, as well as excellent communication abilities to foster a positive and productive kitchen environment. The club values leadership that encourages mentorship, accountability, and open collaboration among staff. The Head Chef's commitment to consistency and quality is paramount to maintaining the club's reputation for exceptional dining experiences.
In addition to a rewarding work environment and the chance to be part of one of Atlanta’s most esteemed private clubs, the Head Chef will receive several attractive benefits. These include weekly pay with on-demand access for emergencies, medical insurance with employer-subsidized premiums, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company participation, paid time off accrued weekly, complimentary parking, and daily shift meals. The club’s mission is to enhance its rich traditions through exceptional service and member-centered community values. It upholds a clear vision to enrich the lives of its members by fostering a thoughtful culture of service embodied by every employee. Core values of professionalism, accountability, communication, quality, and teamwork – encapsulated in the acronym PACQT – guide the behavior and goals of all staff members.
Candidates who possess proven experience in upscale dining or hospitality culinary leadership, strong familiarity with à la carte dining and kitchen operations, and a passion for innovative menu development are encouraged to apply. The role demands a dynamic leader who can effectively manage a disciplined yet creative kitchen while nurturing a talented team. If you are dedicated to inspiring excellence and creativity through your culinary expertise and leadership capabilities, this opportunity at Piedmont Driving Club promises both professional growth and fulfillment within a supportive community-oriented environment.
