Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • several years of culinary experience including line cook and management roles
  • knowledge of Oregon local food sourcing preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • physically able to stand for long periods
  • capable of lifting heavy items

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a head chef or executive chef
  • strong background in line cook roles
  • experience in menu creation and item costing
  • skilled in personnel and labor management
  • knowledge of inventory control
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen operations and manage culinary staff
  • create and develop upscale pub fare menus
  • oversee inventory and item costing
  • manage labor schedules and staffing
  • maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • participate in community events and promote local sourcing
  • provide training and guidance to kitchen personnel
