Job Requirements
- 3+ years in a Head or Sous Chef role
- experience hiring and managing a back-of-house team of six
- strong financial fluency including COGS, labor tracking, inventory, and vendor management
- ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
- proactive, strategic, creative, and grounded mindset
- flexibility to balance vision with iteration
- willingness to collaborate across teams
Job Qualifications
- minimum three years experience as a Head or Sous Chef
- proven kitchen leadership and team management skills
- strong understanding of culinary techniques and menu development
- experience with financial management including cost of goods sold, labor, and inventory
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- strategic thinking and ability to balance creativity with operational needs
- experience in hiring and building back-of-house teams
Job Duties
- lead the kitchen and manage the back-of-house team
- evolve the existing Asian-fusion small plates menu while retaining top five bestselling dishes
- develop and launch a new brunch program including concept, menu, and hiring
- create seasonal specials and late-night menu offerings
- collaborate effectively with front-of-house and leadership teams
- manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and pricing strategy
- foster clear communication and incorporate team and customer feedback
