Job Requirements

  • 3+ years in a Head or Sous Chef role
  • experience hiring and managing a back-of-house team of six
  • strong financial fluency including COGS, labor tracking, inventory, and vendor management
  • ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
  • proactive, strategic, creative, and grounded mindset
  • flexibility to balance vision with iteration
  • willingness to collaborate across teams

Job Qualifications

  • minimum three years experience as a Head or Sous Chef
  • proven kitchen leadership and team management skills
  • strong understanding of culinary techniques and menu development
  • experience with financial management including cost of goods sold, labor, and inventory
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • strategic thinking and ability to balance creativity with operational needs
  • experience in hiring and building back-of-house teams

Job Duties

  • lead the kitchen and manage the back-of-house team
  • evolve the existing Asian-fusion small plates menu while retaining top five bestselling dishes
  • develop and launch a new brunch program including concept, menu, and hiring
  • create seasonal specials and late-night menu offerings
  • collaborate effectively with front-of-house and leadership teams
  • manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and pricing strategy
  • foster clear communication and incorporate team and customer feedback
