The position of Head Chef at The Spinster Sisters is a full-time role based in Santa Rosa, CA, offering a competitive base salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, depending on experience. This role calls for an experienced culinary leader who is passionate about seasonal, farm-fresh cuisine and dedicated to inspiring a talented kitchen team. As Head Chef, the successful candidate will be responsible for both the creative vision and the operational management of the kitchen. This includes developing and evolving seasonal menus that highlight the best of Sonoma County's local farmers, ranchers, and purveyors. The role requires someone who is as enthusiastic about cooking as they are about building a positive kitchen culture. The Head Chef will lead, mentor, and schedule the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment where creativity and quality flourish.
In this hands-on leadership position, the Head Chef will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food safety, preparation systems, inventory control, and cost management. They will also take charge of planning and executing private dining events, outside catering, buyouts, and special occasions with creativity and professionalism. In addition, the role involves collaborating closely with front-of-house leadership to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience from kitchen to table. Job Duties
