Job Requirements

- ability to sanitize dishes using machines and manual methods
- ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the BOH
- physical ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand for long periods
- basic communication skills in English
Job Qualifications
- must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel
- customer service skills and ability to work well with others
- basic PC knowledge and familiarity with Point of Sale systems
- ability to maintain professionalism at all times
- ability to multi-task
- be able to communicate and understand English
- strong organizational and prioritization skills
- be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
- late night availability is required
Job Duties
- sanitizing dishes in a timely manner
- loading, operating, and unloading commercial dishwashers, as well as handwashing larger items
- answer the BOH phone and take call-in customer orders
- adhere to proper sanitation, cleaning, and health and safety procedures
- assist with closing duties, which can include sanitizing cooking and food preparation stations
- monitor dishwashing machines to ensure they are functioning properly and report any issues
- sweeping and power washing kitchen floors
- cleaning walls and work surfaces
- maintain high quality and efficiency in the dish areas
