Job Description
Oklahoma Surgical Hospital (OSH) is Tulsa's premier 5-star rated hospital as recognized by Medicare, setting the gold standard in personalized healthcare and patient experience. Established over 20 years ago by physicians who identified a critical need for a hospital deeply committed to patient-centered care, OSH has since grown into a trusted and esteemed facility in the community. At OSH, the dedication to superior quality in clinical outcomes, patient safety, and overall experience remains unwavering. As a physician-owned hospital, the organization fosters a deeply personal approach that influences every aspect of healthcare delivery, ensuring that each patient feels valued, understood, and cared for beyond just their medical needs. The hospital employs over 550 passionate professionals focused on redefining patient experiences and continuing the legacy of exceptional care and service excellence.
If you are searching for a rewarding career in healthcare with a work-life balance, OSH offers a full-time Guest Services Specialist position in Valet that operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no holiday or weekend shifts required. This role provides a unique opportunity to be the face of the hospital, serving incoming guests and patients with professionalism and friendliness. The position comes with an attractive salary range between USD 30,000 and 40,000 per year and qualifies for discretionary quarterly bonuses alongside a comprehensive benefits package. This is a perfect role for individuals who want to be part of a close-knit, high-performing team where accountability, safety, and compassionate service are a priority.
As a Guest Services Specialist in Valet at OSH, your responsibilities extend beyond typical valet duties. You will warmly greet patients and visitors, assist with luggage, and ensure vehicle safety through meticulous parking and key handling. Your role includes directing traffic and managing guest inquiries related to parking and hospital facilities, contributing to the seamless flow of hospital operations. This position is safety sensitive, requiring you to transport patients within the hospital safely and support patient registration and consultation processes. You will be essential in maintaining order and experience quality in the hospital parking areas and reception areas, acting as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
OSH values team members who demonstrate integrity, multitasking capability, and excellent organizational skills. The role requires a valid driver’s license and personal auto insurance along with a clean driving record. BLS certification is mandatory and can be obtained shortly after hire. Experience is not required, but professionalism, a friendly demeanor, and strong customer service skills are critical for success. OSH fosters a supportive and inclusive workplace, offering free access to a fitness center for employees and medical plans with no out-of-pocket costs at affiliated physician offices. The hospital operates under compliance mandates that require safety-sensitive positions to undergo drug testing with strict adherence to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act.
