The position available is for a full-time Guest Services Senior Agent located at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, AR. This role offers a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour with a schedule typically from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, although days may vary. The Guest Services Senior Agent plays an essential role in ensuring that guests receive exceptional service from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will have prior customer service and computer skills experience, and they will act as a key resource in managing guest interactions and supervising the front office team.
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the Front Office staff by assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing feedback to ensure that the front desk operates smoothly and efficiently. This role involves resolving guest concerns and complaints, promoting hotel services and amenities, handling check-in and check-out processes, and managing payment transactions accurately. Additionally, the Guest Services Senior Agent will maintain communication logs with staff and managers, coordinate staff meals and breaks, and be involved in special assignments as delegated by management.
The position requires excellent problem-solving skills as you will handle difficult or technical reservations, coordinate emergency responses when necessary, and ensure that guest requests are fulfilled timely by forwarding them appropriately. Communication is a critical component of this role as you will answer telephone and email inquiries, handle guest messages, and manage mail, packages, and special items.

Job Duties
- Assign duties to Front Office employees to ensure completion of shift duties
- act as a resource to Front Office employees on difficult, technical procedures or problem reservations
- monitor staff performance, providing feedback to staff and management
- maintain communication logs with staff and managers
- monitor and schedule staff meals and breaks
- complete the registration/check-in process by inputting and retrieving information
- ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for within guest statements
- assist guests with check-out payments and record various forms of payment
- balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications
- provide guests with information about the facility, services, and amenities
- receive special requests from guests and respond or forward appropriately
- promptly answer telephone and email inquiries
- retrieve and forward messages, mail, packages, and fax for customers
- field and resolve guest complaints or escalate for resolution
- assist guests in emergency situations
- maintain adequate supplies and functional equipment at the Front Desk
- perform special assignments as directed by management
