Job Description
Kirkland & Ellis is a premier global law firm renowned for setting the benchmark in legal excellence rather than merely meeting it. With a workforce exceeding 7,000 professionals, including more than 4,000 attorneys, the firm operates across 24 offices worldwide, demonstrating a strong global presence. The firm’s culture thrives on teamwork, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to continuous professional and organizational growth. At Kirkland & Ellis, the approach to tackling the most complex legal challenges is driven by bold ideas and innovative solutions that are fostered by their ambitious and experienced team. They prioritize meaningful work that advances global business, investment, and innovation, emphasizing the value of a supportive and collaborative workplace.
This role focuses on the position of Guest Services Representative, a critical front-facing role within the firm. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees, the Guest Services Representative plays an instrumental role in shaping the firm's welcoming environment. The position is full-time, based on a standard schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with occasional requirements for overtime, including early starts, weekend shifts, extended hours, or adjusted breaks to ensure comprehensive front desk coverage.
The ideal candidate embodies professionalism, warmth, and excellent service orientation. They are organized and detail-focused, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a calm and responsive demeanor. Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing front desk inquiries, handling telephone communications, scheduling and coordinating conference room reservations, and supporting daily office events and administrative tasks. This role is fundamental to maintaining the firm’s reputation for high-quality client service and operational efficiency.
The compensation for this position in San Francisco ranges from $51,000 to $73,000, though it may vary depending on geographic location and cost of living. Beyond competitive base salaries, Kirkland & Ellis provides a comprehensive suite of benefits, including healthcare, paid time off, retirement plans, and personalized learning and development opportunities. This ensures growth, well-being, and support for employees both professionally and personally. Kirkland & Ellis values inclusivity and encourages candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply, focusing on potential and enthusiasm for the role rather than a perfect match of credentials alone.
