Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Ability to handle ongoing face-to-face contact with patients, guests and staff
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills to effectively interact pleasantly and calmly with patients, guests, and staff

- Additional related education and/or experience preferred
Job Duties
- Meet, greet and assist patients and guests and provide general information regarding services, the facility, and geographical area
- Respond to special requests from patients, customers, and guests
- make special arrangements to ensure unique needs are met
- assist patients and guests with scheduling transportation or other services as needed
- Gather, summarize and provide information to patients and guests about the property and surrounding area amenities and establishments
- Coordinate patient needs with other departments or areas
- contact appropriate individual or department as necessary to resolve patient requests
- Coordinate access to care delivery areas, perform visitor authorization procedures, serve as liaison between visitors and staff, relay visitor concerns to staff, and coordinate visitor support services
- Answer phone calls, transfer calls, take messages and relay messages and information as needed
- Provide tours of the facility and escort customers to appropriate areas within the facility
- Perform functions within established parameters, assisting patients, families, and the community at large with minimal supervision based on training and policies provided
- Assist with patient and guest inquiries to ensure a positive experience
