This hotel features 143 stylish guest rooms and suites, more than 2,400 square feet of versatile meeting space, and two distinct outlets including a signature restaurant that adds a tasteful gastronomic element to guests' stays. The Guest Services Agent role at Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway is designed for highly motivated individuals who excel in interaction and engagement with guests. The role is pivotal in shaping the first and lasting impression of the guests’ experience. Responsibilities include warmly welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, providing detailed knowledge about the hotel amenities and the local area, and escorting guests to their rooms. Being the face of the hotel, the Guest Services Agent plays a vital role in ensuring every guest's visit is memorable and personalized. This position fosters engagement and the ability to "WOW" guests by going beyond expectations.

Job Requirements

  • At least one year in a customer service role with high guest interaction
  • A valid drivers license with no major infractions for 6 months
  • Ability to solve problems when they arise
  • Ability to work in a team environment is a must
  • Pleasant and helpful personality
  • Must be able to work a full shift standing and going back and forth to the valet lot and different areas of the hotel
  • Strong desire to make an impact on other people
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
  • Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Help guests discover their wanderlust experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
  • Interact with all guests and welcome each guest to our hotel
  • Open doors for guests arriving by motor vehicle
  • Escort and orient guests to the front desk for check-in
  • Park and retrieve guests vehicles as requested
  • Escort guests and their luggage to their room while explaining hotel amenities and fun facts
  • Work together with other attendants to ensure each guest has a personalized experience
  • Assist lobby attendant in keeping entrance area clean and organized
  • Be the difference with all guests and employees and go beyond the norm
