Job Description

AEG is a global leader in the sports and live entertainment industry with a rich legacy of over 20 years. The company operates more than 300 venues worldwide and annually hosts over 160 million guests, promoting upwards of 10,000 shows and presenting more than 22,000 events. AEG is recognized for its commitment to innovation, artistry, and community, leveraging its extensive portfolio, including leading sports franchises, marquee music brands, integrated entertainment districts, a premier ticketing platform, and global sponsorship activations, to create unforgettable experiences that propel the world to cheer. The company has a strong focus on building a diverse and inclusive environment that mirrors the culture of the artists, athletes, and fans it serves. It is also dedicated to sustainability and supports the communities in which it operates by adopting environmentally friendly practices throughout its business operations.

The Guest Services team plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences at various events hosted across AEG's venues. Two vital positions within this team are the ID Checker/Ticket Scanner and the Guest Services Ambassador. The ID Checker/Ticket Scanner is tasked with providing top-notch customer service by checking IDs and scanning tickets, managing wristband distribution for different guest categories, and assisting guests with finding their seats and navigating the venue. This role demands familiarity with state and federal laws regarding valid IDs and alcohol sales, and the ability to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor while handling guest inquiries and any policy-related issues that arise.

On the other hand, the Guest Services Ambassador oversees designated event areas to ensure operations run smoothly and guests feel welcomed and safe. Ambassadors provide information, escort guests who need assistance, and help enforce community standards, such as quietness and respect near residential areas. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle high-pressure situations compassionately, and readiness to escalate concerns promptly to medical or security personnel when necessary. Both positions require commitment to excellent customer service, the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a professional appearance. Compensation for these roles is set at $19.31 per hour, with potential eligibility for part-time benefits under the ACA qualification. These roles offer an opportunity for individuals passionate about live entertainment and community engagement to contribute meaningfully and be part of a world-class organization dedicated to making every event memorable and safe.
