The Restaurant Crew Member role at Church's Chicken is essential to achieving the company’s mission of delivering courteous, speedy, and efficient service to each guest. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager and operating within the Field Operations department, the Crew Member is responsible for executing daily service tasks in alignment with Church's Operating Standards Manual (OSM). This role requires individuals to engage warmly with every customer, maintaining a positive, enthusiastic attitude, to ensure all customers feel welcomed and appreciated. Crew Members take and fulfill orders accurately within designated service times, promote upselling of menu items as guided by management, handle cash transactions responsibly, and quickly address any customer service issues. They play a crucial role in ensuring product quality by adhering to holding times, displaying menu items attractively, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas and display cases. Stocking necessary supplies and maintaining iced tea inventory are also part of the daily duties. The position is fast-paced and requires keen attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Basic computer skills and cash handling abilities are essential, as is punctuality and adherence to security protocols during money transactions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least 6 months of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of all restaurant policies, practices and operational and human resources procedures
  • excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally
  • ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
  • ability to receive money and accurately count back change
  • practices adequate security measures in cash handling, making frequent cash drops and maintaining a minimum amount of cash in the drawer
  • basic computer skills
  • report to work timely for each scheduled shift

Job Duties

  • Greets all customers with a sincere smile, taking and filling customer orders within company mandated service time, suggestive up sell of products as directed by management, collects money and delivers order to customer, immediately attends to any customer service problem or complaint and notifies manager as needed, verifies opening reading and bank, is accountable and responsible for all cash issued and received at their register during their shift and all guest checks used, counts down drawer at end of shift to ensure accuracy, immediately notifies manager in charge of any deletions, over-rings or equipment problems, ensures that all product holding times are strictly observed, ensures products on the counter or in the display case are properly rotated and attractively displayed, keeps display case interior and exterior clean at all times, stocks the service area with a sufficient supply of napkins, cups, lids, etc., maintains an adequate supply of iced tea, performs all other duties as assigned
