Running Aces Casino, located at 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN, is a premier entertainment destination combining casino gaming, hotel accommodations, and harness racing. We are currently hiring for a seasonal part-time position to join our team at Running Aces Casino. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy engaging with guests and delivering outstanding customer service. The position operates primarily on-site with a flexible schedule of 20-25 hours per week, working the second shift with weekend hours and other special event shifts as required. As a frontline ambassador of Running Aces Casino, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and positive environment, managing guest interactions, and supporting the smooth operation of the casino, hotel, and racetrack facilities. Your duties will include answering inquiries, assisting guests with various needs, and ensuring the presentation and availability of merchandise and supplies.
The role demands a high level of professionalism and a "Can Do" attitude, with an emphasis on teamwork and effective communication. You will be the first point of contact for patrons, making a lasting impression through your interpersonal skills and attentiveness. Additionally, the position involves handling cash transactions, including sales of merchandise and verifying identification for tobacco purchases, highlighting the importance of accuracy and compliance with regulations. The role also includes maintaining cleanliness and organization at the Aces Rewards Front Desk and lobby areas, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be available for varying shifts and days, including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Must be approachable, dependable, reliable, pleasant, positive and professional with a strong ability to work with other team members, good listening skills, patient and friendly
- Knowledge of current events, promotions, and activities
- Ability to handle guest issues in a friendly and "Can Do" attitude, seek the answer from other areas if unable to answer specific questions or concerns, and promptly respond to the guest
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to operate computers including knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and word processing
- Ability to work with numbers and cash handling experience
- Knowledge of the Bravo and Micros system a plus but not a requirement
Job Duties
- Responsible for the first line interaction with guests of Running Aces Casino, Hotel & Racetrack on a daily basis
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service by having a "Can Do" and friendly attitude
- Answering all incoming phone calls with a pleasant and professional manner, answering questions or directing calls accordingly
- Monitor all materials that are available to the public to ensure that information is current and monitor the supply for ongoing needs and inventory
- Assist guests with concerns, questions, and inquiries
- Get to know our top players and guests and build rapport with them daily
- Sale of merchandise, general medications and other supplies, check for valid identification with every tobacco purchase
