This position involves much more than answering phones and checking guests in and out; it requires the ability to create a welcoming and polished atmosphere, maintain seamless operations, and contribute to the overall team culture. The role is suited for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, a keen sense for customer needs, and a knack for keeping things organized and running smoothly behind the scenes.

As part of the front desk team, you will be the face of Tangerine Salon, responsible for building authentic relationships with guests by greeting each one warmly and ensuring they feel at home. You’ll assist clients by sharing insights into the salon’s diverse array of Aveda products and bespoke services, encouraging them to pre-book future appointments so they never miss their next beauty appointment. With tech-savviness and comfort using Apple software and a sleek Point of Sale system, you will effortlessly handle check-ins, check-outs, cash balancing, and daily reporting. Attention to detail extends to maintaining an Instagram-worthy front desk and salon appearance that mirrors the stylish vibe Tangerine Salon is known for.

This role offers either full-time or part-time employment, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, with scheduled availability including some evenings and Saturdays. Pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour based on experience and availability.
