The position available is for a full-time, non-management role as a Guest Service Expert in the Food and Beverage & Culinary category. This role is critical to the seamless operation of the restaurant and dining experiences at JW Marriott Dallas. The Guest Service Expert moves beyond simply putting food on the table; this role is about crafting a memorable and unique guest experience through attentive service, effective communication, and an energetic approach to hospitality. Responsibilities include setting tables, interacting with guests, coordinating with kitchen staff, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the service area.
Success in this role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and dedication to creating safe and welcoming environments. The Guest Service Expert must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, move across various surfaces safely, and handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds with assistance. Upholding Marriott's strict standards for appearance, communication, and professionalism is essential. The ability to manage menus, verify order details visually, and engage directly with guests helps to make each transaction not just a routine interaction but part of a larger dining experience.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- no supervisory experience required
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- capable of moving over uneven or slippery surfaces
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance
- willingness to follow safety and quality standards
- no licenses or certifications required
