The Guest Service Desk Clerk role at Festival Foods is an exciting part-time employment opportunity located in Kimberly, WI. This position reports directly to the Guest Services Manager and plays a vital role in ensuring outstanding guest experiences throughout the store. A Guest Service Desk Clerk acts as the front line of service, engaging with customers both in person and via phone or electronic means, handling a variety of inquiries, transactions, and service-related issues. The clerk is tasked with processing transactions efficiently and accurately, managing cash and media at the service counter, and supporting additional services offered at the desk, such as DMV transactions, lottery, and ticket sales. Furthermore, the clerk upholds high standards of quality and operational excellence, overseeing cash distribution to cashiers, assisting with refunds and exchanges, and ensuring that customer concerns are resolved promptly and professionally.

Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and carrying boxes
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical dexterity including eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience advantageous but not required
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and associates
Job Qualifications
- Minimum availability of 16 hours per week with at least 8 hours per day during available days
- Genuine interest in providing excellent customer service and engaging with guests
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail to accurately manage register transactions and prioritize tasks
- Ability to operate necessary equipment and services within the store
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding service by responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving complaints in a professional manner
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions and maintain cash and media at the service counter
- Manage cashier tills distribution and support additional services such as DMV, lottery, and ticket sales
- Assist guests with refunds, exchanges, and offers while recording inquiry details and escalating unresolved issues
- Ensure all quality standards are met including quantity expectations at designated times
- Partner with cashiers throughout the day to meet associate and guest needs
- Maintain regular and timely attendance and collaborate with the team to perform other assigned duties
