The Guest Service Associate role at Global Partners is essential in delivering exceptional customer experiences at the store level while supporting all operational tasks necessary to maintain store functionality and appearance. In addition to customer service duties, the Guest Service Associate is responsible for executing safety and security policies, operating the point of sale system, managing cash and inventory for lottery and tobacco products, maintaining store cleanliness through housekeeping tasks, and replenishing stock to ensure products are available at all times. The associate will also coordinate with vendors, participate in inventory management activities, and assist in merchandising projects as directed by management. The job demands physical stamina as it involves tasks like climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in various temperature conditions including outdoors and in cooler environments.

Job Requirements
- Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and or holidays
- ability to perform basic computer functions
- must have reliable transportation
- ability to work in intermittent temperatures including outside and cooler environments
- ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift or carry up to 25 lbs
- ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area
- perform duties of the job in a timely manner
- ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- basic computer skills
- ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs and climbing ladders
Job Duties
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
- adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
- operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
- maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels
- complete all store housekeeping functions including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash
- replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
- communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
