The Front Desk Agent role at Drury Hotels is pivotal in delivering the first and lasting impressions to guests. This full-time position entails serving as the friendly, helpful face greeting guests as they enter and depart the hotel. Responsibilities include checking guests in and out, promoting company programs, maintaining accurate guest records, handling cash transactions, ensuring guest satisfaction, and resolving issues efficiently. Additionally, the role involves assisting with the hotel’s breakfast service and the 5:30 p.m. Kickback, which may include food preparation, setup, guest hosting or bartending, and cleanup duties. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Warm and friendly manner in relating to and interacting with the public
  • Demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
  • Ability to speak and receive direction in English
  • Willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Perform front desk related functions including checking guests in and out, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, monitoring guest satisfaction, and problem resolution
  • Assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service including food preparation, set up, guest service as host or bartender, and clean-up
  • Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, guest service with a +1 service attitude
