Job Description

HHM Hotels is a reputable and guest-focused hospitality company committed to delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences. Known for its dedication to quality accommodations and customer satisfaction, HHM Hotels operates a range of properties designed to meet the diverse needs of travelers, from business professionals to vacationing families. With an emphasis on sustainability and corporate responsibility, the company strives to balance guest comfort with environmentally conscious practices. This dynamic organization values its employees as critical partners in its success, fostering a culture where people are respected, growth is encouraged, and excellence is the standard.

The Receptionist role at HHM Hotels is pivotal in shaping the initial and ongoing guest experience. This position involves welcoming guests warmly, facilitating smooth check-in and check-out processes, managing reservations, and responding promptly to guest needs, all while adhering to hotel brand standards and sustainability initiatives. Receptionists are expected to provide courteous and professional service, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any concerns efficiently. This role serves as a foundation for a career in hospitality, with a clear growth path toward supervisory and managerial positions such as Front Desk Supervisor, Sales Coordinator, Front Office Manager, or Sales Manager.

Receptionists at HHM Hotels are the first point of contact and act as ambassadors for the brand. The role requires a blend of interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and operational knowledge, including familiarity with property management systems (PMS). Daily duties include greeting and registering guests, managing payments, handling messages and communications, securing valuables, and performing bookkeeping tasks like account balancing and audits. Receptionists also participate in supporting other hotel areas during busy times, such as assisting with guest luggage and breakfast service. Safety is a critical aspect of the job, with adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and proper use of protective equipment mandated to ensure a safe working environment.

Success in this role is measured by guest satisfaction scores, highlighting the importance of guest-oriented service and problem resolution skills. HHM Hotels values employees who are adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement both personally and professionally. Working hours may vary, including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts, reflecting the hospitality industry's demanding and dynamic nature. The physically active role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and other movements necessary to meet guest needs efficiently and safely. HHM Hotels is dedicated to supporting employee wellbeing and development, offering a comprehensive suite of benefits and professional growth opportunities. This position offers an excellent chance for individuals passionate about hospitality to join a leading company and build a rewarding career while contributing to a positive guest experience and a sustainable future.
