The Front Desk Associate role at Drury Hotels is essential to maintaining the warm and inviting atmosphere that guests expect. The role involves performing a variety of front desk duties such as checking guests in and out efficiently, promoting company loyalty programs, managing guest records, handling cash transactions accurately, monitoring guest satisfaction, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.

In addition to front desk responsibilities, the associate will assist with the hotel’s signature breakfast service and the 5:30 p.m. Kickback event. This may involve food preparation, setting up service areas, hosting or bartending duties, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the service period. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Willingness to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
  • Ability to speak and receive direction (written and verbal direction) in English

Job Duties

  • Serve as the happy, helpful face of our hotel to guests entering and departing our front door
  • Ensure exceptional, positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests
  • Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Perform front desk related functions, which include checking guests in and out, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, monitoring guest satisfaction, and problem resolution
  • Assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service, including food preparation, set up, guest service (host or bartender), and clean-up
  • Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, guest service with a +1 Service attitude
