Job Description
HHM Hotels is a reputable hospitality company committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through high-quality service and a welcoming environment. We are a well-established hotel brand recognized for our sustainable practices and dedication to creating memorable stays for our guests. Our properties are designed to provide comfort, convenience, and a personalized touch that reflects the values of our brand and the expectations of modern travelers. We pride ourselves on fostering a workplace culture that values people, innovation, and continuous improvement, making HHM Hotels a preferred employer in the hospitality industry.
We are currently seeking a Front Desk Associate to join our team. This role is crucial as it forms the first impression our guests have upon entering the hotel. The Front Desk Associate is responsible for greeting guests warmly, registering and assigning rooms, and ensuring all interactions meet our established service standards. The position operates on a full-time or part-time employment basis, offering a competitive wage of $20.00 per hour.
The Front Desk Associate will play a key role in managing guest relations, handling payments, and providing information about the hotel and its amenities. This position also assists with guest requests, handles complaints in a professional manner, and contributes to the overall satisfaction scores of our department. Additionally, the associate will perform essential administrative and bookkeeping tasks, maintain safety protocols, and support other hotel functions during peak periods, including assisting in the breakfast area and helping guests with luggage when necessary.
Candidates aspiring to grow within the company have clear progression opportunities, including advancement to Front Desk Supervisor, Sales Coordinator, Front Office Manager, or Sales Manager roles. This career path highlights HHM Hotels' commitment to developing talent from within and providing pathways for professional growth.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess previous customer service experience or equivalent training. Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred but not mandatory. We value individuals who exhibit excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. By joining HHM Hotels, you will be part of a team dedicated to excellence, nimbleness, and ownership, embracing the core beliefs of People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It.
This role requires physical stamina as the associate will spend extended periods standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Work schedules may vary and include holidays, weekends, or alternate shifts, offering an exciting and dynamic workplace environment. HHM Hotels supports its employees through comprehensive benefits designed to promote well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
