Inventory management responsibilities include monitoring and reporting the use of cleaning supplies and amenities, assisting with stock checks to ensure availability. The role involves direct guest interaction, responding to requests and concerns with professionalism and efficiency, and conducting follow-up inspections to confirm guest satisfaction. Additionally, the inspector may perform cleaning duties as needed, help cover for the Housekeeping Supervisor during sick or vacation days, manage room assignments, and oversee public area cleanliness and equipment maintenance.

Physical demands are considerable; the role requires standing and moving freely around the property, occasionally lifting and carrying weights up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and working in varying indoor temperatures and outdoor weather conditions. The ideal candidate has strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the capacity to manage guest interactions diplomatically.

By embodying the SCP’s culture and core values, the Guest Room Inspector contributes significantly to the overall guest experience, ensuring that the hotel maintains its reputation as a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
