The current opportunity is to join the dedicated and dynamic team at the McHenry Row Courtyard by Marriott located in Baltimore, Maryland. This exciting new hotel property comprises 126 rooms and is perfectly situated within the McHenry Row development. Its strategic location is an added advantage being less than a mile from the Maryland Cruise Terminal and under two miles from key city landmarks including the M&T Bank Stadium and Horseshoe Casino, making it a popular destination for both business and leisure guests. The role involves working as part of the housekeeping staff, where maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service quality contributes directly to guest satisfaction and the hotel’s overall reputation.
As a Housekeeper at McHenry Row Courtyard by Marriott, the individual will be responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms to the established brand standards and company expectations. This role demands flexibility in working hours, encompassing weekends, holidays, and shifts that vary based on operational needs. Emphasis is placed on guest interaction whereby the housekeeper addresses complaints promptly and ensures a positive guest experience. Responsibilities also include maintaining standards for quality and cleanliness within guest rooms and public areas, observing hotel safety and security protocols, and managing the restocking of housekeeping carts. Additionally, the position involves reporting any maintenance issues promptly and assisting with additional deep cleaning or seasonal cleaning tasks as scheduled. The housekeeper plays a key role in upholding the confidentiality and security of all guest accommodations, ensuring both comfort and safety.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of cleaning experience preferably in hotel environment
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills

- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security of guest rooms
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year cleaning experience
- previous hotel experience preferred
- ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests management and co-workers
- knowledge of proper chemical handling
- bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele
Job Duties
- Be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and varied shifts
- handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
- maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments
- observe all house and safety rules housekeeping room procedures and security procedures
- clean and service assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards
- return and restock cart at end of shift
- complete additional deep cleaning seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled
- perform other duties as assigned
