Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of cleaning experience preferably in hotel environment
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • knowledge of safety and housekeeping procedures
  • ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
  • commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security of guest rooms

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year cleaning experience
  • previous hotel experience preferred
  • ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests management and co-workers
  • knowledge of proper chemical handling
  • bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele

Job Duties

  • Be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and varied shifts
  • handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments
  • observe all house and safety rules housekeeping room procedures and security procedures
  • clean and service assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards
  • return and restock cart at end of shift
  • complete additional deep cleaning seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled
  • perform other duties as assigned
