Job Description
Crossroads Country Club Pet Resort is a licensed, insured, and veterinarian-recommended pet care facility specializing in providing outstanding services for canine companions. With a commitment to excellence, this resort features large outdoor grass play yards, home-like boarding options, and a VIP (Very Important Pooch) daycare program that offers daily enrichment activities beyond standard group play. The resort’s reputation is built on a foundation of over 40 years of combined dog training and behavior modification experience and more than 20 years of dedicated pet care expertise. Their team comprises trained staff members affiliated with the International Boarding and Pet Care Services Association, ensuring professional and knowledgeable care for all pets entrusted to them.
An on-site attendant provides constant supervision, reinforcing the resort’s emphasis on safety and well-being. The facility offers a Pet Health Warranty and Loyalty Rewards to give pet owners peace of mind. Social dogs benefit from supervised group play designed to reduce stress and promote healthy social interactions, while non-social dogs receive focused one-on-one attention and individualized exercise sessions. This approach ensures every pet feels comfortable, secure, and loved during their stay.
Crossroads Country Club Pet Resort is now hiring a Guest Relations Specialist to join their dedicated team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about animals and customer service. The Guest Relations Specialist will play a pivotal role at the front desk, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and their pets. This position requires handling a variety of tasks including checking pets in and out, answering phones, managing inquiries, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
The role demands strong multitasking abilities, as the specialist will juggle multiple phone lines and front-desk responsibilities, especially during busy periods. Candidates must be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments with care and professionalism. Physical ability is also important, as the job requires walking, squatting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Hours for this position are from 6:45 am to 11 am, Monday through Friday, with some weekend availability needed. The role starts at 15-20 hours per week, making it an ideal part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling. Compensation is competitive, ranging from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience and performance, with estimated monthly earnings between $1,360 and $1,520.
The Guest Relations Specialist will support the Office Manager with general administrative duties and help uphold the resort’s cleanliness and safety protocols. This position requires someone who is reliable, punctual, and has a friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills. Prior office experience and customer service skills are essential, and experience working with dogs is preferred but not mandatory.
In addition to competitive pay, employees enjoy benefits such as paid time off, dental insurance, 401(k) options, employee discounts, and ongoing opportunities for professional development and continued education. This role presents a valuable opportunity for individuals looking to combine their love for animals with a rewarding customer service career in a supportive and well-established pet care environment.
