This commitment enables the organization to better serve communities across the United States with sensitivity and care.
Located in the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington area of Minnesota, the American Cancer Society offers a full-time opportunity for a Guest Relations Manager. This role is vital in providing an exceptional experience for patients and their caregivers as they navigate their treatment and support services. The Guest Relations Manager is primarily responsible for leading guest relations and front desk operations, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed, supported, and efficiently assisted during their visits.

Supervising a team of guest relations and concierge staff is a key responsibility, requiring strong leadership skills to provide ongoing training and to promote excellent guest service standards. Additionally, coordinating guest amenities, transportation, and any special accommodations ensures that every guest's unique needs are met with care and professionalism.
A significant part of the Guest Relations Manager's duties includes maintaining accurate guest records and carefully managing room inventories to optimize occupancy rates and resource utilization. Regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas guarantee that the environment is clean, safe, and welcoming. The manager also plays a critical role in promptly addressing any guest feedback or concerns, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and fostering trust in the services provided.
This position operates on a Sunday through Thursday schedule from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, offering a salary of $46,100. The Guest Relations Manager will be able to work within a dynamic, fast-paced, guest-facing environment and will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail. This role requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and involves some physical demands such as standing, walking, occasional lifting, and handling manual tasks related to guest services.
This role not only provides an opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization but also to develop professionally within a collaborative and supportive work culture. The American Cancer Society supports its employees with generous paid time off, medical and dental benefits, retirement plans, wellness programs, and professional development opportunities.
