We are currently seeking a Guest Relations Manager (GRM) to join our team. This pivotal role places you at the heart of the hotel’s operations, specifically at the front desk, where you will lead a cohesive team dedicated to providing outstanding service while strictly adhering to brand and Concord standards. The Guest Relations Manager is responsible for ensuring superior guest satisfaction, maintaining high-quality product standards, and acting as a role model for staff performance and professionalism. You will manage front desk operations, train staff in check-in/check-out procedures, telephone etiquette, hotel amenities, and financial controls involving cash handling and receivables. Your proactive approach, responsiveness, and empathetic nature will significantly influence the overall guest experience, making every visitor feel welcome and valued.

The role requires strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence in guest service. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with guests while overseeing operational effectiveness and ensuring all activities meet brand requirements. Job Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in a hotel environment
  • proficiency with Marriott PMS system
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • commitment to maintaining brand standards and quality service

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in a hotel environment
  • effective leadership and team management skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • knowledge of Marriott PMS system
  • ability to train and develop staff
  • capability to manage financial controls
  • high level of professionalism and guest service orientation

Job Duties

  • Manage front desk operations as manager on duty
  • ensure front desk staff are trained in all front desk procedures including check-in and check-out
  • oversee telephone procedures and hotel amenities knowledge
  • enforce financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables
  • provide exemplary performance and leadership for staff
  • foster a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service
  • maintain adherence to brand and Concord Hospitality standards
