MetroLagoons is currently hiring for the 2026 Spring and Summer Seasons, offering opportunities across all shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, and weekends to accommodate a variety of schedules. They are seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Admissions Hosts. This seasonal role is critical for ensuring a smooth and positive experience for guests from the moment they arrive at the lagoon. Admissions Hosts are responsible for greeting guests warmly, selling tickets for entry and rentals, and handling various sales including special events and gift shop merchandise. The position combines indoor and outdoor duties, requiring a dynamic, customer-focused approach, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced environment.

As an Admissions Host at MetroLagoons, your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests feel welcomed and valued while efficiently managing ticketing and sales processes. You will monitor guest re-entry, enforce bag check policies, and maintain cleanliness in your designated work areas, contributing to a safe and orderly environment. In addition to sales and guest relations, the role involves responsibility for lost and found processes, answering guest inquiries on-site and over the phone, and collaborating closely with team members and leadership through radio communications.

This job requires a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions and the ability to work outside in diverse weather conditions. Physical stamina is necessary as hosts will stand for long periods and occasionally lift items up to 50 pounds. Flexibility in availability, especially for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential due to the seasonal and dynamic nature of the operation.
