Guests enjoy signature Butler Service that blends classic refinement with contemporary flair, setting St. Regis apart as a leader in delivering exquisite and memorable stays.
Located at 22701 Pelican Hill Rd S, Newport Beach, California, this full-time Reservations Sales Manager role provides an exciting opportunity to join the management team of an elite Pacific Coast luxury property. The position involves supervising the reservations sales staff, providing training, managing assignments, and ensuring revenue targets are achieved through proactive up-selling and customer service excellence. With a competitive pay range of $30.29 to $42.79 per hour and eligibility for bonuses, this role is designed for dynamic professionals focused on maximizing reservation revenue, enhancing customer loyalty, and driving exceptional service.
The Reservations Sales Manager is a key player in identifying new business opportunities in reservations sales, ensuring the property meets and exceeds its revenue goals. The role requires a profound understanding of market trends, competitor positioning, and customer profiles to effectively close business aligned with property priorities. Daily responsibilities include overseeing the handling and negotiation of reservations, managing group bookings, monitoring forecasting data, coordinating with sales and convention services, and supporting the seamless operational flow of reservation sales. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to managing contracts, processing charges efficiently, and maintaining accurate reservation data.
Beyond revenue management, this role places strong emphasis on delivering outstanding customer service that aligns with the upscale standards of the St. Regis brand. The Reservations Sales Manager works closely with guests and clients to enhance satisfaction, resolve complaints promptly using established protocols, and build lasting relationships that encourage repeat business. Leadership in this position also involves monitoring employees’ performance, maintaining a comprehensive orientation and training program, and utilizing all available tools and resources to support team effectiveness.
Candidates for this role may come from diverse educational backgrounds with either a high school diploma or GED or a two-year degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Hotel and Restaurant Management, accompanied by significant experience in sales, guest services, or front desk operations. The job is located on-site and demands a strong interpersonal skill set, proficiency in negotiation, and a proactive approach to sales and customer relationship management, all essential to thriving in this prestigious environment.
Joining Marriott International and St. Regis means becoming part of a global workforce committed to inclusion, diversity, and equal opportunity, fostering a workplace that values every associate’s unique contribution. This commitment extends to hiring practices that consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in compliance with applicable laws. This role offers a chance to contribute to an iconic brand’s legacy while advancing one’s career in luxury hospitality management and sales.
