The role we are looking to fill is essential to maintaining the quality and appeal of our residential communities. As a Maintenance Technician, the primary responsibility is ensuring that the physical condition of the community is continuously maintained to the highest standards. This includes upkeep of the grounds, common areas, amenities, and overall curb appeal, contributing directly to resident satisfaction and property value preservation. This position demands a proactive approach to site inspection and maintenance, including removal of litter, debris, and pet waste, and conducting minor repairs as needed. The technician also supports service team members by assisting with service requests and unit preparations for new residents. Additional duties include lock changes compliant with property policies, maintenance of pool area safety, distribution of resident communications, and vigilant hazard identification to maintain a safe environment. The role requires compliance with safety and risk management protocols and participation in related training activities. The position is hourly, with a wage range between $21.00 and $23.00, and may offer opportunities to participate in bonus programs dependent on location and performance. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license suitable for operating golf carts within the property. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Inspects the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
  • removes trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to starting the make-ready process, transfers trash to dumpster or storage area as applicable, and cleans and maintains storage areas
  • completes assigned minor and routine service requests as requested by Service Supervisor and/or Community Manager, and assists the make-ready specialist in the turn process
  • changes all locks in accordance with the property’s policy and ensure gates to all pool areas are working according to codes and safety standards
  • distributes notices and communications to residents as necessary
  • informs appropriate supervisors of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation for residents, team members, guests and others
  • demonstrates customer services skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering resident questions, and responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services
  • complies with Greystar’s safety and risk-management policies by attending and participating in the property’s routine safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and other safety related laws and requirements, and by reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately
