Job Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
- have a valid driver’s license
- be proficient in English
- ability to lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds
- willing to work fixed and/or rotating schedules including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- completion of a two-year degree at a post-secondary technical school or have a minimum of three years of demonstrated ability
- must achieve a satisfactory score on entry tests structured to determine ability to perform required tasks
- consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
- embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- completion of a two-year degree at a post-secondary technical school or minimum of three years of demonstrated ability in related field
- proficiency in English
- valid driver’s license
- ability to lift items between 50 and 70 pounds
- knowledge of electrical/relay systems, PLC controls and networks, industrial maintenance, conveyor systems, passenger loading bridges, industrial air conditioning and refrigeration, and 400 Hz generator ground power systems
- ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and schematics
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a team and coordinate repairs
- ability to prioritize safety and security
- willingness to work fixed and/or rotating schedules including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to achieve satisfactory scores on entry tests
Job Duties
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and repair with precision measuring and testing instruments
- determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
- ensure the proper functioning of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating industrial equipment and test equipment throughout Stationary GSE in accordance with approved manuals and procedures
- maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to log inventory levels, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt
- prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs and maintain operational efficiency
- respond to customer needs promptly and effectively in time-sensitive situations
