Currently, Creative Dining Services is hiring a Grill Cook to work at Lincoln Financial Group, a major financial services company known for its dedication to employee wellbeing and community impact. This position is part-time, with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday), and there is potential for the role to transition into full-time in the future. The Grill Cook will play a crucial role in ensuring that high-quality, seasoned, and nutritious food items are prepared and served in a timely manner. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and an understanding of food preparation processes that preserve freshness, texture, and appeal.
The Grill Cook will be responsible for coordinating food production so that all meals are ready at the time they are served, using established recipes and batch cooking techniques to minimize overproduction or waste. Proper food storage, labeling, and temperature control are critical to maintaining food safety and quality standards. Additionally, the Grill Cook will manage production records including food usage, shortages, and customer counts, ensuring operational efficiency and accountability.
This position demands a candidate who is ready to work in uniform, on time, and follows all workplace rules and regulations. The ideal candidate will be involved in both preparation and inventory duties, such as putting away and pulling stock as needed. The working environment is dynamic, fast-paced, and requires strong teamwork and communication skills to deliver excellent customer service consistently.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work Tuesday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to adhere to uniform and hygiene standards
- Prior experience as a grill cook or in a similar cooking role preferred
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation or cooking
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and portion controls
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of service
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus in a manner which preserves food freshness, quality and appeal
- Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production
- Store food items according to established standards of practice
- utilize proper labeling and dating
- Hold prepared food items at appropriate temperatures (below 40 degrees if cold, above 135 degrees if hot)
- Maintain production records (food usage, overages, shortages, customer counts, etc.)
- Follow established work rules and regulations
- ready for work in the kitchen, in uniform, at the scheduled time
- Putting away/Pulling stock as needed
