The company is currently hiring full-time and part-time Grill Cook positions at multiple campus locations, with scheduling that includes day, night, and weekend shifts to accommodate various operational needs. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $19.50 per hour, with an additional internal employee referral bonus to incentivize quality hires.
As a Grill Cook, you will play a critical role in the food service operation, responsible for preparing and serving food items at the grill station while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer service. The position demands experience in customer service, cooking, grilling, and managing food orders for large groups, emphasizing efficiency and attention to detail. The Grill Cook prepares orders quickly and accurately, utilizing approved recipes and production standards to ensure the food meets temperature and presentation expectations. The role requires performing duties that include order preparation, food storage, sanitation, customer interaction, and record-keeping in accordance with federal, state, and corporate guidelines.

Job Requirements
- Prior experience in customer service, cooking, and grilling
- Ability to prepare food orders for large groups
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Availability to work full time or part time shifts including nights and weekends
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications

- Prior experience in customer service, cooking, and grilling
- Ability to prepare orders for large groups
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as carrying trays and maintaining work area cleanliness
Job Duties
- Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation
- Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations
- Serves customers efficiently and friendly following established steps of service
- Ensures food is at correct temperature and presentation and tastes all prepared items
- Uses approved recipes and portion control standards
- Carries food to and from workstations following safety standards
- Stores food following wrapping, dating, and food safety procedures
- Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils for sanitation
- Resolves customer concerns and reports to supervisor
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- Performs job safely and maintains a clean, safe environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
