Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to work night shifts Sunday through Thursday 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capacity to work some overtime
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work in fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as a grill cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of service
- prepare food items according to established recipes and menus in a manner in which preserves food freshness, quality and appeal
- utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production
- store food items according to established standards of practice
- utilize proper labeling and dating
- hold prepared food items at appropriate temperatures (below 40 degrees if cold, above 135 degrees if hot)
- maintain production records (food usage, overages, shortages, customer counts, etc.)
- follow established work rules and regulations
- ready for work in the kitchen, in uniform, at the scheduled time
- putting away/pulling stock as needed
