Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to work night shifts Sunday through Thursday 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capacity to work some overtime
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a grill cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of service
  • prepare food items according to established recipes and menus in a manner in which preserves food freshness, quality and appeal
  • utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production
  • store food items according to established standards of practice
  • utilize proper labeling and dating
  • hold prepared food items at appropriate temperatures (below 40 degrees if cold, above 135 degrees if hot)
  • maintain production records (food usage, overages, shortages, customer counts, etc.)
  • follow established work rules and regulations
  • ready for work in the kitchen, in uniform, at the scheduled time
  • putting away/pulling stock as needed
