This full-time Grill Cook position is based at the USAA IT Center in Plano and offers a competitive pay range of $15 to $20 per hour. The role centers on preparing and creating nutritious, high-quality dishes across various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. As a Grill Cook, you will be an integral part of the team, helping to reduce food waste while ensuring excellent customer service. You will be responsible for operating cooking stations such as grills and fryers, reading and measuring ingredients according to recipes, and portioning food accurately and efficiently. The position requires weekday availability with specific shift schedules, which will be detailed during the interview process.

The role calls for a team-oriented, adaptable, and reliable individual who is passionate about food preparation and committed to maintaining a healthy and safe work environment. While prior experience from zero to two years is beneficial, the position is designed to foster growth and development within a flexible and supportive workplace. Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipes
  • prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
  • attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
