Job Description
Chili's Grill & Bar is a renowned casual dining restaurant chain that originated in Dallas, Texas, in 1975. Over the decades, Chili's has established itself as a beloved destination for those seeking a vibrant yet comfortable dining experience. Famous for its iconic Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, sizzling fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas, Chili's prides itself on combining quality food with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The brand is also recognized for its deep-rooted commitment to hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and every visit is memorable. Chili's culture emphasizes fun, teamwork, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service. With a strong focus on giving back to the community, the company fosters an environment where employees and guests alike can feel part of something special.
The Manager role at Chili's is crafted for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and excel in people-centric environments. Managers are not just supervisors; they are leaders who inspire their teams and create a positive atmosphere that encourages collaboration and high performance. The position is full-time with an annual salary range of $64,000 to $69,000, reflecting Chili's commitment to rewarding skilled and dedicated professionals. As a critical link in the restaurant's operations, the Manager ensures that guests receive outstanding service every time they visit, while also driving business results through effective cost control and operational excellence.
In this role, Managers are expected to embody the Chili's culture and creatively lead their teams to success. This includes modeling exemplary behaviors, holding team members accountable to operational standards, and fostering open communication throughout the restaurant. Managers take a hands-on approach to problem-solving by identifying root causes of issues, maintaining transparency, and showing vulnerability when needed. Leading with both heart and mind, they champion restaurant initiatives and adapt to change with a positive attitude. Duties also include thorough execution of operational systems such as Manager Timelines and quality Line Checks to maintain the highest standards.
Furthermore, Managers take charge of talent acquisition and development by hiring, training, and retaining team members, preparing them for growth within the company. They actively engage with guests inside the restaurant and build meaningful relationships within the local community, reinforcing Chili's reputation as a friendly neighborhood spot. A firm understanding and application of safe food handling procedures is expected to guarantee guest safety and satisfaction. Above all, the Manager communicates and lives by Chili's cultural beliefs: Every Guest Counts, Food Perfection, Be Accountable, and Play Restaurant. This role demands a dependable team player who thrives in fast-paced environments and multitasks effectively, making it ideal for those who are motivated by people and operational success alike.
