Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- minimum of 3 years experience in event management or related role
- strong interpersonal and client service skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- proficiency in event management software
- excellent problem-solving abilities
- valid work authorization
Job Qualifications
- proven experience in event management
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to multitask and work under pressure
- knowledge of catering and event production
- excellent organizational skills
- experience in hospitality industry preferred
- ability to maintain brand standards
Job Duties
- execute all contracted events to exceed client expectations and maintain high brand standards
- act as a liaison between clients and sales event managers
- manage event production and oversee Catering Staff and Housekeeping
- serve as the onsite contact during events
- interact with clients to ensure satisfaction
- coordinate communication between clients and internal departments including food and beverage, kitchen, and events team
- oversee events at Soho Grand Hotel and The Roxy Hotel
