The role of Events Manager at Grandlife Hotels is pivotal in ensuring the flawless execution of all contracted events that uphold the company's high brand standards. This position serves as a crucial bridge between clients and the sales event managers, facilitating seamless communication and coordination to exceed client expectations. The Events Manager takes charge of event production, overseeing the efforts of Catering Staff and Housekeeping to deliver smooth and successful events. Acting as the onsite point of contact on event days, the Events Manager plays an active role in client interaction, ensuring that every aspect of the event aligns with the client’s requirements and preferences.

This dynamic role requires overseeing and managing multiple events hosted at both Soho Grand Hotel and The Roxy Hotel, necessitating excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently. The Events Manager is responsible for maintaining a constant flow of information among internal departments, including food and beverage, kitchen, and the events team, to facilitate synchronized operations. This ensures that all event elements come together cohesively, resulting in a superior guest experience and reinforcing Grandlife Hotels’ reputation for exceptional event management. The position demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining a polished professional demeanor. Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • minimum of 3 years experience in event management or related role
  • strong interpersonal and client service skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • proficiency in event management software
  • excellent problem-solving abilities
  • valid work authorization

Job Duties

  • execute all contracted events to exceed client expectations and maintain high brand standards
