Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • minimum of 3 years experience in event management or related role
  • strong interpersonal and client service skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • proficiency in event management software
  • excellent problem-solving abilities
  • valid work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience in event management
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • knowledge of catering and event production
  • excellent organizational skills
  • experience in hospitality industry preferred
  • ability to maintain brand standards

Job Duties

  • execute all contracted events to exceed client expectations and maintain high brand standards
  • act as a liaison between clients and sales event managers
  • manage event production and oversee Catering Staff and Housekeeping
  • serve as the onsite contact during events
  • interact with clients to ensure satisfaction
  • coordinate communication between clients and internal departments including food and beverage, kitchen, and events team
  • oversee events at Soho Grand Hotel and The Roxy Hotel
