Job Duties

  • Perform opening and closing tasks including organizing provisions and necessary instruments, cleaning equipment and areas, securing doors with locks
  • Organize, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Take orders and enter them into the MICROS system
  • Prepare food and coffee
  • Collect payments from customers using the cash register system
  • Ensure appliances such as coffee machines are turned on and off at appropriate times
  • Clean tables and coffee cart areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
  • Manage cash drawer including computing end-of-shift balances, resolving discrepancies, completing cashier reports, delivering receipts, and securing the cash drawer
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance including uniform standards
  • Protect company property and privacy of information
  • Support and treat coworkers with dignity and respect
  • Work collaboratively to meet common team goals
  • Comply with quality assurance standards
  • Physically lift, move, and handle objects up to 25 pounds
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
