Job Duties
- Perform opening and closing tasks including organizing provisions and necessary instruments, cleaning equipment and areas, securing doors with locks
- Organize, stock, and maintain work areas
- Take orders and enter them into the MICROS system
- Prepare food and coffee
- Collect payments from customers using the cash register system
- Ensure appliances such as coffee machines are turned on and off at appropriate times
- Clean tables and coffee cart areas
- Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
- Manage cash drawer including computing end-of-shift balances, resolving discrepancies, completing cashier reports, delivering receipts, and securing the cash drawer
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance including uniform standards
- Protect company property and privacy of information
