Nestled in Dallas, Texas, the Renaissance Dallas Hotel is embarking on the search for dedicated individuals ready to contribute to a vibrant team and provide guests with outstanding service. This full-time, non-management position focuses primarily on food and beverage services, specifically working within the culinary and service teams. The role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operational flow and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, preparation, and guest satisfaction.

The role involves completing both opening and closing duties, which include preparing the necessary supplies and tools, ensuring all equipment and areas are cleaned, and securing the premises by locking doors at the end of shifts. Maintaining well-stocked and organized work areas is crucial for efficient operation, and the role requires handling customer orders using the MICROS cash register system—from taking orders and inputting them to accepting payments. Preparing food and coffee beverages is an essential part of the duties, alongside ensuring that appliances such as coffee makers are operated at appropriate times.

Attention to detail is paramount in maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift, which includes clearing coffee cart areas and tables, washing dishes and utensils, and sanitizing workspaces and equipment. Financial responsibilities are also included; the employee needs to manage cash banks, conduct end-of-shift counts, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, safely secure receipts, and manage change appropriate for business levels.

This role emphasizes adherence to company safety and security policies, which involves reporting incidents, maintaining certifications, and presenting a clean and professional appearance in line with uniform standards. Interpersonal skills are equally important as employees are the face of the hotel to guests—they must welcome and acknowledge guests in a manner consistent with company standards, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and communicate clearly and professionally.
