The role of a Lead in ABM is crucial to the smooth and efficient operation of facility services on-site. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day facility operations, ensuring all tasks and procedures comply with company policies and safety standards. The Lead acts as the primary point of supervision at assigned locations when the Manager is unavailable, providing leadership and practical guidance to team members to maintain high-quality standards for cleanliness and safety throughout the facility. The role involves coordinating work assignments, managing access control through keys and access cards, and handling various operational duties such as monitoring supply levels, equipment, and chemical use. Additionally, the Lead performs or supervises janitorial functions, operates specialized cleaning equipment, and ensures that repair or maintenance issues are promptly reported and resolved in collaboration with area managers.

This position demands a proactive individual who can enforce standards while fostering a collaborative team environment. The Shift Leader also supports employee onboarding and training, manages timekeeping for employees and subcontractors, and ensures clear communication between field staff and management. Working hours for this role are scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2 PM to 5 PM, and during weekends from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Compensation for the Lead role is $21.00 per hour, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required.
