The Global Payments Events team at JPMorgan Chase is dedicated to delivering exceptional client events that support and enhance the company’s payment strategies across North America. As an Event Associate on this team, you will play an integral role in supporting the planning, execution, and analysis of various events and sponsorship initiatives. Reporting directly to Event Managers and partnering closely with Payments Sales teams, your focus will be on managing event logistics from start to finish while ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills to oversee pre-event activities such as invitation management, RSVP tracking, budget administration, and coordination with marketing and content teams for promotional materials. Additionally, you will lead onsite event support by liaising with venues, audiovisual teams, speakers, and attendees to ensure seamless execution.
Post-event responsibilities include compiling key metrics, analyzing attendance and engagement data, coordinating debrief sessions, and preparing detailed reports to track event effectiveness and return on investment. This comprehensive role also requires adaptability to handle shifting priorities and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Candidates should be prepared for occasional early mornings, late evenings, and up to 25% travel to support event needs. This position is ideal for professionals with at least three years of experience in events marketing, a strong work ethic, and an aptitude for collaborating with multiple stakeholders across departments. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Understand the business objectives and support the Payments Events team in the development of event programming to deliver successful events
- Manage pre-sponsorship/event responsibilities including invitation creation, testing and distribution ensuring timely and accurate attendee communications
- Own RSVP lists from multiple data sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Build and maintain project plans and operational documents including invoices and budget tracking
- Write and manage internal communications
- Build host/sales and speaker briefing documents
- Coordinate with content and social media teams on associated marketing materials
- Partner with marketing centers of excellence to execute email, digital, and social campaigns
- Lead production elements such as project plans, venue research and contracting, catering, audiovisual requirements, event collateral creation, name badge production, and packing/shipping
- Provide onsite support including liaising with venue, A/V teams and speakers
- Manage event registration
- Manage post-sponsorship/event responsibilities including drafting materials and participating in debrief calls with partner organizations and business steering committee
- Aggregate data and analyze programs for effectiveness and ROI
- Analyze RSVP trends, attendance patterns, and engagement metrics to inform event strategy
- Finalize event reporting including budget actuals and audit record retention
