The role of Gerente, Carnes y Mariscos (Meats and Seafood Manager) is a pivotal leadership position responsible for managing the daily operations of the meats and seafood departments. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain
- Successful completion of drug screening and background checks
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Knowledge of meat cutting and knife skills
- Competent with department operating software
- Food safety certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferred bachelor’s degree
- Supervisory experience of 3 to 6 years
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and communication abilities
- Knowledge of basic math
- Knowledge of cutting, tray placement, wrapping, and labeling
- Food safety certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
