The position of General Utility Worker at Aramark focuses on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchens and dining areas. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a food service or sanitation role is beneficial but not required
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
  • Willingness to adhere to safety policies and use personal protective equipment
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
  • Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and excellent customer service
  • Willingness to use personal protective equipment and uniforms as required

Job Duties

  • Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
  • Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
  • Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition
  • reports any issues to management
  • Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
  • Ensures security of company assets
