The role of General Utility Worker II within Aramark’s Food and Beverage (F&B) services is a vital position that combines both back of the house and front of the house responsibilities. This hourly role pays $18.00 and involves maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in compliance with food hygiene regulations and company policies. The General Utility Worker II supports kitchen operations by assisting with the preparation, cleaning, and sanitation tasks required for seamless service. Responsibilities include monitoring and recording food and equipment temperatures, performing dishwashing and deep cleaning duties, preparing service areas, and assisting chefs with food delivery inspections to ensure quality standards. Adherence to personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform regulations is mandatory to present a professional image conducive to good customer relations. This position requires good interpersonal and communication skills as the worker is often the face of the food service experience to customers.
This role is physically demanding and may require lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, standing for extended periods, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and uniforms. Continuous learning is encouraged through attendance at in-house training sessions to stay updated on best practices and safety policies. By fulfilling these duties with attention to detail and a commitment to quality, the General Utility Worker II contributes significantly to the daily success of Aramark’s Food and Beverage teams and ensures a positive experience for guests.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- previous food prep experience preferred
- knowledge of various food prep methods, accurate knife handling, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage preferred
- must be able to acquire food safety certification
- demonstrates basic math and counting skills
- demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Duties
- monitor and record food and equipment temperature
- maintaining a clean and safe working environment including pot/dish wash and deep clean duties
- attend in-house training sessions
- maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations always
- present an image always conducive to good customer relations
- comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's health and safety policy
- comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's policies and procedures
- service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by Campbell Catering
- ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to
- assist chefs with the checking in of food deliveries ensuring that only the highest standards of produce is accepted into the units
- ensure that all food storage align with food hygiene regulations and that stock rotation system is being followed
- cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture
- preparation of service area and/or service points
- accurate storage of food items and equipment after service
