We are currently seeking a dedicated General Utility Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be critical to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen areas, including work surfaces, equipment, and utensils. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining the mechanical dishwasher, ensuring that the food line is continually stocked with clean plates and utensils to facilitate a smooth service flow. This position demands a proactive approach to cleaning and sanitation, including performing routine and end-of-shift cleaning tasks such as tidying work areas and restrooms. Physical stamina is essential, as this role requires lifting between 25 to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and moving efficiently around the kitchen. Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior experience in a similar role is advantageous
ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
strong attention to detail in cleaning and sanitation
physical capability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods

Job Duties

ensure all kitchen work areas equipment and utensils are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition
assist in food preparation by setting up operating and maintaining the mechanical dishwasher throughout the shift
keep the food line stocked with clean plates and utensils
perform multiple cleaning and sanitation tasks at the end of the shift including tidying work areas and restrooms
