Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in upscale fine dining as general manager or chef
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Ability to act as guest advocate and maintain a culture of hospitality and kindness
  • Skilled in finding, training, teaching, and retaining front-of-house and back-of-house talent
  • Collaborative mindset with chef and owner
  • Expertise in operational systems and financial management
  • Experience with media, public relations, and event planning

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences
  • Develop and implement training programs for front-of-house and back-of-house staff
  • Collaborate closely with the chef/owner to drive business growth and innovation
  • Manage hiring, training, and retention of top culinary and service talent
  • Serve as the primary guest advocate, resolving any issues and ensuring satisfaction
  • Maintain strict control over financials, including budgeting, cost analysis, and payroll management
  • Plan and execute events and large parties, ensuring flawless delivery and guest enjoyment
